Shows and Winners

...the first award winner from this litter!

Songdog's Red Sky in Morning

Best in Match at Evansville Kennel Club show on Sept. 19, 2004

Shown by his mom, Shirley Short, Al (formerly Lime) took Winner's Dog for a 3 point major at the Owensboro Kennel Club show, which is part of the Kentuckiana Cluster - the second largest dog show cluster in the nation.  He won out of the Puppy 6-9 Month Class, which is quite a feat considering he had stiff competition from older dogs shown by professional handlers.  It was only the second time he had ever been in the ring - and the first time was the day before!

Despite terrible heat and humidity, Gusty hung in there like a real trooper.  She passed her first two tries at obedience at the S. Indiana KC shows last weekend.  She qualified both days in Novice B.  On Saturday she scored 192.5, but on Sunday did a much better job and took second place in her class with 194!  She'll try to complete her CD title at the Duluth, MN shows in July.

Fraser took fourth place in Open Dogs at the  Booster Show in Thunder Bay Ontario in July, 2005.  He also earned Canadian Working Certificate.

Gusty took second in Specialty Sweepstakes (12-18) at the Flatcoat Specialty and took first in Novice B obedience.  She also earned her Canadian WC.

Al took third place in 12-18 regular puppy class .
