Week One

We finally made it!

It was getting pretty crowded in there with all of those legs and elbows so we decided to get a look at our new world.  We started arriving about 4:30 pm and by midnight our human parents figured that the 10 who had arrived were the whole group.  Boy, did we surprise them!  Three more of us were born by 2:30 am!  There were so many of us that there weren't enough collars for everyone so some improvisation was done.  Some of us will be changing to different colors as we get older - but our human mom keeps good records.

Mom has been getting some help from our human parents - after all, we can't get big if we don't eat a lot!  So we all get to nurse from Mom and then also get some extra good stuff from a bottle.

Mostly we eat and sleep but it's a lot more fun to do it in shifts so that we can keep everyone on their toes.  Uncle Fraser took one look and hightailed it out of here - we guess he won't be baby sitting anytime soon.  Grandma Sadie, on the other hand, has taken quite a shine to us and stayed by Konza during her labor and delivery.  Of course, it's easy being the Grandma - all fun and no work!

Our human parents are exhausted but very happy.  They said to tell you that:
