SONGDOG
Flatcoats is excited to announce a breeding sometime this
year!
Annie (HR Blazingstar Beaufort CDX SH)
will be bred with frozen semen to
Doc (CH Black Walnut Asclepius MH AX OAJ WCX HOF).
Annie
is a bright, talented, cheerful girl from Blazingstar
Flatcoats with strong breed type and a lovely head. She
needs only majors to finish her Championship in limited
showing. Clever and intelligent, she is a quick study and
finished her CDX obedience title before she was 18 months
old. She also shows strong hunting ability, exhibiting
excellent marking and good sense in her fieldwork. Annie is
currently running Master with two tests passed so far. Her quirky personality makes her
quite the character and she contributes much joy to the
Songdog household.
Doc
was a FCRSA Hall of Fame dog who excelled in the field. He
was one of the finest dogs ever bred by Songdog, the son of
two Master Hunter parents. His littermates include another
CH/Master Hunter Hall of Fame Flatcoat and others with
multiple breed, obedience, tracking and field titles. The
depth and breadth of excellence in his pedigree allow him to
pass on great potential. Doc placed highly in multiple
classes at National Specialties, including a first in the
Field Trial class, and earned his Master Hunter title with
style. He was Dave Bunde’s personal hunting dog and an
outstanding pheasant hunter. Doc was enthusiastic,
affectionate, and loved to work.
We are confident this
litter will produce puppies that characterize the ultimate
goal of the Songdog breeding program- true family hunting
companions. They should be sound dogs of strong breed type
with affectionate temperaments and good working ethics.
Both
black and liver puppies are anticipated.
Please note: It is the philosophy of Songdog
Flatcoats that the purpose of our breeding program is to
produce FAMILY and hunting companions.
Therefore, our policy dictates we will not place puppies
or adults in homes where our dogs will be sent to
professional trainers or handlers for extended periods
of time.
Also, we expect our dogs to live as family members in a
home situation. We do not place our dogs where they
will live in a kennel environment.
Thank you for your understanding.
Serious inquiries invited.
