If you want to have pictures printed out to show friends and relatives, there are a couple of ways to do it. These instructions may vary slightly depending on your computer operating system but should fit for most people using Windows.

These days, Kodak maintains kiosks in many photo departments. They allow you to take pictures disks, insert them into a machine, manipulate, and print photos. You can lighten, darken, crop, etc. any picture that you select. There are also online photo "shops" (www.ofoto.com is one) that will let you send pictures to them and they will print them for you.

For everyone except Mac users, "click" means click the left mouse button.

To save a picture to your PC as a file:

  1. From the picture page, click on the picture that you want to save so that it opens in the larger sized window.

  1. Place your cursor on the large picture and right-click (click with the right mouse button) directly on the picture. A list box displays giving you several options.
  2. Click "Save Picture As…". The Save As dialog box displays.
  3.

  4. At the top of the dialog box, use the drop-down arrow in the "Save In" field to select where you want to save the file. If you want to save it to a floppy disk, select 31/2 Floppy (A:). Don't forget where you saved it!
  5. At the bottom in the "File Name" field, you can use the existing file name or change it to something different.
  6. Click Save.

To send a picture directly to your printer:

  1. From the picture page, click on the thumbnail of the picture that you want to print (see above). The picture displays in a larger window.
  2. Right-click on the large picture. A list box displays.
  3. Click "Print Picture". Depending on how your PC is set up, you may see another dialog box.
