As many of you know, we lost our beloved Blizzie to Blastomycosis in the summer of 2011.  This terrible disease is becoming more and more prevalent among dogs who who live or hunt in rural areas.  Originally more common in southern states, it has been steadily moving north and is now found as far north as Canada.   Below is information about it - please feel free to print any of the files and talk about this with your veterinarian.

Songdog wants Blizzie’s legacy to be the development of a vaccine for blastomycosis so no more dogs will suffer needlessly.

The date, 1857, is etched at the top of the window.  The lighthouse was commissioned by Lincoln just 5 days before his assassination.

Little Charity from Big Charity.  It's so shallow between the islands that  you can wade over and never get wet above the waist!
